The historical Classic Routemaster was first built in April 1961, one of only 2,120 examples ever made. Routemaster Buses were originally built to transport guests around London and the surrounding areas, working from a variety of Garages including Edmonton, Camberwell, Willesden, Stamford Hill and many more.

The RML is the high capacity version of the Routemaster which was designed for the major central London routes. The extra capacity was obtained by adding a 2ft 4in bay in the centre of the body, counting a total of 72 seats.

One of only 524 examples ever made, the Lengthened Routemaster is much more in demand compared to its Classic counterpart.

On average, most Routemaster Buses would have provided around 25 years of continuous service transporting the public before going into Retirement.

The History of each Routemaster carries its own special tale with each Bus uniquely identified by its fleet number written in stylish, metallic gold lettering against the Classic Pillar Box red paint colour.

Some Routemaster Buses would have and still are retired to museums across the country while many remain in service around London providing hire for Private Events.

Our Routemaster Buses have being lovingly restored, repanelled and repainted back to London Transport red.

They continue to grace the streets of London throughout the year complete with a Class 6 MoT, working tachograph and top speed of 40mph.

Our Routemaster Buses can be used for Wedding Transportation, London Tours, Private Hire work and corporate events in and around London.
